Roger Lee Wood, Age 49, A Resident of Delaware, Oklahoma.

Roger was born on July 28, 1955 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Louis Lee and Violet Edna (Morris) Wood. He married Lorelei McCoy on June 28, 1976 in Nowata, Oklahoma. They made their home north of Nowata where he was a farmer and rancher.

He worked for Hayes Heat & Air. He enjoyed working on the farm and tending to his cattle. He also loved to hunt and fish.

Roger went to be with the Lord Sunday May 8th at his home.

His Grandparents, Preston E. & Marie Sue Fink Wood and John B. & Myrtle Ann Jenkins Morris preceded him in death. He is survived by: His Parents, Louis and Edna Wood of Delaware, Oklahoma. His Wife, Lorelei of the home. One Son, Clinton L. Wood of Delaware, Oklahoma. One Daughter, Melody L. Wood of Delaware, Oklahoma. One Sister, Rhonda Wood-Brown of Collinsville, Oklahoma. Two Grandchildren, Hunter Q. Wood & Chase Carter Wood. And a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: 2:00 Wednesday, May 11th at the First Church of God in Nowata, Oklahoma with Reverend Gary Hammond Officiating. Burial will follow in the Nowata Relocated Cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma. Under the Direction of Seaman - Blanke Funeral Service of Chelsea, Oklahoma.
