Mr. Jason Heath Knight, also known as “Whiskey", 47, of Nowata, died at 11:34 P.M. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 in Cadiz, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Nowata, Oklahoma with Pastor Jonathan Long of HIS Church in Nowata officiating. Interment will be at the C.L. Davis Family Cemetery in Nowata County directed by the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home.

Friends who wish may call for visitation at the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 AM until 8 PM and on Sunday from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M.

Mr. Knight was born at Nowata on July 6, 1972 the son of John Henry and Patsy Ann (Davis) Knight. He grew up and received his education in the Nowata area. He had been active in road construction and as a heavy equipment operator and was later the equipment operator/manager of a landfill at Cherryvale, Kansas. He re-entered the construction business for several years and for the last seven years was in the pipeline construction business with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local # 627. He married Sara Michelle Storm on September 24, 1994 in Nowata. He loved hunting and fishing, especially in a boat on the lake.

Survivors include his daughter, Lindsay Nicole Knight (Pookie) of Lenapah, one son, Jacob Hiram Knight of Nowata, his parents, John Henry and Patsy Ann Knight of Nowata, a sister, Kelly Hausher and husband Alan of Owasso, a brother, Patrick John Knight of Nowata, his former spouse, Sara Michelle Knight of Lenapah, a granddaughter, Maci Jo Hawn of Lenapah, nieces and nephews, Jessica Hausher, Tayler Hawkins, Patrick John Knight II and Jordan Hausher and several aunts uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Claude and Dora Davis, his paternal grandparents, E.T. and Lucille Knight, an uncle, Bill Davis and his best friend, Mickey (his dog).
