Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Elmire Benefiel,71, 746 W. Sequoyah, will be held Tuesday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at the Benjamin Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roy Parnell and Rev. Leroy Sewell officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of the Benjamin Funeral Service.
Mrs. Benefiel died Friday evening, March 5, at Nowata General Hospital.
She was born on April 23, 1910 at Silverdale, Ks. To John Morton and Amelia (Hall) Norton.
She married Ben Harvey Benefiel at Nowata on September 26, 1929.
She moved from Silverdale, Ks. to Bartlesville as a child and to Nowata in 1960.
She was a member of the Church of GOD Free Holiness.
Survivors include; her husband, Ben Benefiel of the home; two sons, Rev. Bill E. Benefiel of Bartlesville, Eddie Leon Benefiel of Nowata, one Daughter, Evon Stark of Childers, one sister, Ruth Bridges of Arkansas City,Ks., 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in dearth by a daughter Mary Ann White, on January 30, 1969.
Pall bearers will be Paul Alexander, Clyde Long, Carl Fugate, Bob English, Sid Seinford and Lawrence Green.
