Mr. Vernon P. Hagebusch, 88, of Dewey, died on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Mt. Washington Cemetery in Lenapah with Rev. Brian Fuller of the Truth Tabernacle officiating and under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mr. Hagebusch was born at Nowata, Oklahoma on June 13, 1932 the son of Clyde F. Hagebusch and Minnie M. (Marlin) Hagebusch. He grew up and received his education in the Nowata area and then served in the U. S. Army in Korea. He was married to Betty Lou Manard on April 6, 1957 at Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in the Dewey area and Mr. Hagebusch was employed as an electrician with National Zinc until his retirement.

Survivors include three daughters, Caroul Brant of Girard, Kansas, Loria Grisham of Bartlesville and Virginia Slape of Dewey, a sister, Carroll Sue Manley of Claremore, 15 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Harvey and Joe and by his wife, Betty Lou Hagebusch on June 2, 2019.
