Bobie Gene Patteson, 94, of Copan, died Friday in Copan.

Bobie was born the son of Robert Henry and Mary Lou Patteson on March 19, 1926, in Delaware, Ok. He met and married the love of his life Juanita Williams in Nowata on Nov. 5, 1948. They made their home in several area communities in Oklahoma and Kansas before settling in California where they raised five children and spent 39 years. Once retired they returned to their home state of Oklahoma in 1997 and made their home in Copan. In retirement Bobie and Juanita loved to go for drives, visiting old favorite places and reminiscing about the days gone by.

He is survived by three children, Sharon Economen of Beaumont, CA, Jerry Patteson of California, and Jesse Dale Patteson of Copan, OK; six grandchildren: Jennifer Economen, Deanna Martz, Teresa Lewis, Rebecca Hernandez, Michael Clyde, Jerry Patteson Jr.; 13 great-grandchildren: Aspen Economen, Breanna Jones, Daniel Flores, Katelyn Menchaca, Troy Smith, Samantha Smith, Juanita Snow, Jackson Lewis, Anthony Oddo, Jessica Oddo, Emily Oddo, Nicholas Oddo, Michael Clyde; 14 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers A. J. and Bennie Patteson and a host of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 69 years, Juanita; one son, Bobby Patteson; and one daughter, Mary Clyde.

Burial will be in the Martin Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home.
