The funeral for Ethel Deloris Shiever, 89, of Morrison, will be 10 a.m. Mon-day, April 6, 2009, at Christ Lutheran Church, Perry. The Rev. William Metz will officiate. Burial will be in Morrison Cemetery . Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Family visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born March 28, 1920, in Perry to Roy Wilson and Lena Martha Baetz Cowell and died Friday, April 3, 2009, at her home.
She received a business degree form St. John's in Winfield, Kan.She married Stephen R. Shiever July 25, 1942, in Perry.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Perry, where she was the church organist for 61 years. She worked at Foster Corner Drug and Donahue & Muggler.Surviving are her husband, Stephen; three sons, Stephen C. Shiever of Crescent and Randy Shiever and Vance Shiever, both of Morrison; one brother, Otto Cowell of Stillwater; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
