Born to William & Addie Cox McNeal Oct 16, 1927 in Covington, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of 6 sisters & 2 brothers. She went to heaven on July 23, 2020. She was 93 years old.

She attended Covington School and graduated in 1945. As a young girl, she sold the grit newspaper door to door. Her family had a milk cow, she delivered milk to the neighbors. She worked in the grocery store after school, sold ice cream, stocked shelves & ran the cash register for .75/day.

Her sweetheart, Lawrence joined the Navy. She took the train to New Orleans on April 1st 1947, they were married. A few years later, Lawrence surrendered to preach. Ella then became a pastor’s wife. She taught Sunday school, played the piano, led the choir, and was the church secretary.

She raised 2 children Teddy Wayne & Shirley Sue. Teddy has 4 children, 14 grandchildren, & 2 greatgrandchildren. Shirley has 2 children & 4 grandchildren.
