The funeral for Marie Buffington, 91, of Perry, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, Perry. The Rev. Albert Quick will officiate.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry.

She was born Feb. 22, 1914, in Perry to Joseph Frank and Tranna Turner Jackson and died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at Stillwater Medical Center. She graduated from Perry High  School in 1931. She married Ralph Buffington July 21, 1933, in Enid. He died Dec. 12, 1982. She was a homemaker and a member of Jolly 12 Club, Perry Senior Citizens and Sumner Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Richard and Leslie Buffington, both of Perry, and Robert Buffington of Broken Arrow; one daughter, Betty Skalenda of Lebanon, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, Ralph, she was preceded in death by two sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077, to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
