The graveside service for Winnie M. Brown, 74, of Perry, was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion in Grace Hill Cemetery . The Rev. Ed Cook officiated. Arrangements were by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.

She was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Tyrone, Kan., and died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at her home.

She married Samuel Clayton Brown Nov. 8, 1952, in Perry. He died Aug. 9, 1998. She worked at Cooper Olds, GMC and Mr. C's before retiring. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Sandra Sills of Lawton; one sister, Shirley Jerome of Perry; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077 to First United Methodist Church.
