Enid News and Eagle (OK) - March 12, 2009

The funeral for Cleva Jo Beier, 81, of Perry, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Zion Lutheran Church, east of Perry.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery , Perry. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.

She was born Sept. 1, 1927, in Perry to Dewey Lee and Ena May Humphrey Howard and died Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Perry Memorial Hospital.
She married Edward J. Beier Sept. 29, 1946, near Perry. They farmed and ranched northeast of Perry.

She was a member of
Zion Lutheran Church, served as president of Black Bear Homemakers Club, and was judge for election precinct 304 in Sumner for 16 years.

Surviving are one daughter, Eddetta Grant of Sand Springs; two sons, Robert L. Beier and David E. Beier, both of Perry; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, and one grandson.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077, to
Zion Lutheran Church.
