The funeral for Gary L. Adkins, 47, of Perry, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church of Christ, Perry. Gerald Stewart will officiate.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.

He was born March 8, 1960, in Electra, Texas, to Ralph N. and Linda G. McHugh Adkins and died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at Integris Southwest Hospital, Oklahoma City. He graduated from Perry High School in 1978. He worked at Charles Machine Works, managed Daylight Donuts in Stillwater, and delivered newspapers for the Stillwater NewsPress.

Surviving are his mother, Linda G. Adkins of Electra, formerly of Perry, and two sisters, Jana Allen and Keri Koch, both of Perry.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077, to Church of Christ in Perry, American Lung Association, or the Gary L. Adkins Fund to assist with medical and final expenses.
