Claudine Elizabeth "Dayton" VanBebber, age 84, of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away on June 1, 2025 in Perry, Oklahoma.
 

A celebration of her life will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at First Christian Church in Perry, Oklahoma with Reverend Dr. Joshua Bell officiating.
 

Claudine was born on March 21, 1941 in rural Noble County to Claude and Floris "Ballew" Dayton. Claudine attended Whipple and Lone Star Schools before graduating from Perry High School. She furthered her education at Draughon School of Business. On July 11, 1959, Claudine married her high school sweetheart, Gene W. VanBebber. Claudine was an efficient bookkeeper and secretary who worked at various jobs until her skills became the backbone of the family business, the GVL Corporation. Gene provided services for the agriculture, commercial, and oil industries, but Claudine provided the bookkeeping skills needed to have all the permits and take care of billing and payroll.
 

Survivors include: daughters, Glenna Moak and husband, Tom of Austin, Texas, Vicki Cook and husband, Ron, of Perry, and Lucia VanBebber of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Alicia Miller and husband, Jerry of Perry, Graham Moak and wife, Chelsey of Denton, Texas, and Gavin Moak of Austin, Texas; great grandchildren, Wyatt Farthing, Savannah Moak, and Ollie Moak; brother, Lorn A. Dayton and wife, Gloria of Granbury, Texas; and sister, Diana Noteware of Perry.
 

Claudine is preceded in death by her husband, Gene W. VanBebber; her parents, Claude and Floris Dayton; sister-in-law, Christy Whitchurch; and brother-in-law, Eddie Noteware.
 

Memorial contributions can be made payable to First Christian Church in Perry.
