Born to Elisha Harrison Adams and Ida Luetta Brengle Adams on 2 May 1896 in Loretto, Marion County Kentucky and passed away 13 January 1974 in Perry, Noble County Oklahoma.  

He married Manilla Johnson in 1919.  To this union was born 2 sons Robert W Adams in 1924 and unknown infant Adams in 1927.  They also had a daughter Willa J in 1926.  Manilla passed in 1927.

He married Mary Ellen Nida August 31,1933 and to this union was born a son John Gary Adams in 1942.  John was killed in an accident in 1956 at the age of 14.

They also had 2 daughters Marilyn in 1935 and Janice in 1937

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and a brother Spurgeon C. Adams
