James "Kelly" Rolland
February 5, 1937 ~ July 26, 2015

James “Kelly” Rolland, 78, of Muskogee, Oklahoma went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2015 in Muskogee. He was born February 5, 1937 in Braggs, Oklahoma to Roy and Beulah (Riggs) Rolland.

Kelly proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1954-1957.

He lived in Ardmore, Oklahoma from 1968-1980. The rest of his life he resided in Muskogee. The career part of his life he enjoyed most was being the owner of Square Deal Music before his retirement in 1998. He found joy in playing music with his friends and family, tinkering in his shop, traveling with the love of his life, Jo, and spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Kelly was a member of Southeast Baptist Church since 1962. Kelly was a member of Southeast Baptist Church since 1962.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Rolland and Randy Rolland; and two great grandsons.

Kelly is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jo Evelyn; two sons, Chris Rolland wife Stephanie, Randy Rolland and wife Sheila; six grandchildren, Luke Rolland and wife Kim, Amber Collins and husband Eric, Chad Rolland and wife Brynlee, Kristen Hutson and husband Henry, Lauren Fulk and husband Nick, and Lance Rolland; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Bob Rolland and wife Freda; one sister, Jackie Lewis; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services honoring Kelly’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Southeast Baptist Church with Evangelist Doug Miller and Pastor Mike Murray officiating.

Interment will follow at Oktaha Cemetery in Oktaha, Oklahoma with Luke Rolland, Chad Rolland, Lance Rolland, Eric Collins, Henry Hutson, and Nick Fulk serving as pallbearers.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Jo Evelyn (Royse) Rolland
August 30, 1937 ~ December 5, 2020

Jo Evelyn Rolland went home to be with the lord on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Jo Evelyn was born in Muskogee, OK on August 30, 1937 to Troy and Wilma Royse. She graduated from Central High School in Muskogee in 1955.

She married Kelly Rolland, on September 18, 1958.

She was a member of Southeast Baptist Church for 58 years. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and serving the lord.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Kelly; parents, Troy and Wilma Royse; sister, Shirley Burnes; brothers, Jerry and Wayne Royse. She is survived by her two sons, Chris Rolland and wife Stephanie, Randy Rolland and wife Sheila; six grandchildren, Luke Rolland and wife Kim, Amber Collins and husband Eric, Chad Rolland and wife Brynlee, Kristen Hutson and husband Henry, Lauren Fulk and husband Nick, and Lance Rolland; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Brassfield; brothers, Harold and Ronnie Royse. Along with with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
