Louise (Thomas) Pratchard

January 15, 1916 ~ December 17, 2008

Louise Pratchard, age 92, was called to heaven Wednesday, December 17, 2008.

Louise was born January 15, 1916 in Butler, Missouri to John and Minnie (Turpin) Thomas.

In 1945, she moved to Muskogee and worked at Calhouns Department store for eleven years. While at the bowling alley, she met her future husband, Lloyd. She and Lloyd were married in 1947 and were faithful members of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Louise enjoyed church work, making arts and crafts, taking bus tours all over the United States with her husband, bowling and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Minnie Thomas, two brothers, Elvin and William Thomas, one sister, Mary Adams and one son, Gary Pratchard.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lloyd Pratchard; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Gary DuVall of Muskogee; three grandchildren, Stephen and Corinne DuVall of Warner, Kristen Duvall of Muskogee and David and Kassie DuVall of Broken Arrow; three beautiful great grandchildren: Nathan, Christian, and Calecia and a sister, Pauline Kraft from Butler, MO, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Reverend Mary Ewing officiating.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with David DuVall, Pete Schrader, Gary DuVall, Stephen DuVall, Joe Russell, and Gerald Parsons serving as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer‘s Association, 6465 S. Yale., Ste 312, Tulsa, OK 74136-7805.

The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service of Muskogee with the arrangements.
