Willie E. "Bill" Montgomery

June 22, 1924 ~ August 2, 2009

Willie E. "Bill" Montgomery, 85, of Muskogee passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center. He was born June 22, 1924 in Hulbert, Oklahoma to Frank and Jessie (Boston) Montgomery.

Bill worked at Nelson’s Furniture for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Montgomery of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Cecil and James Boyd of El Paso, Texas; sister, Marie Griffin of Texas; brother, Ed Montgomery of Collinsville, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Gaye Gage and Kim Dean; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 and Fosters’ Ivory Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
