Mary Jane (Cantrell) Hunnicutt

Nov. 11, 1911 ~ Oct. 6, 2007

Mary Jane Hunnicutt a Henryetta resident passed away on October 6, 2007 in Henryetta at the age of 95. Born November 11, 1911 in Vian, Oklahoma to Bert and Mae Cantrell. She married Leslie Hampton Hunnicutt on June 4, 1949 in Muskogee,OK. She was a member of the Henryetta First Baptist Church, Trotter Toppers, and the Rebekahs Lodge. She was a homemaker and loved traveling, playing cards, dominoes and her flowers. She has been residing in the Grace House at Fountain View Manor in Henryetta for the past seven years where she had a special extended family, caregivers and friends. A special thanks goes out to all the family at Grace House.

Mary is preceded in death by her first husband Dee Lewis Hale, December of 1946, her second husband Leslie Hunnicutt June of 1993. Also her parents, 2 sisters; Katherine Evans and Velma Boen and 4 brothers; Ralph, Henry, Searl, and Earl Cantrell.

Survived By: 2 Daughters: Barbara Conatser and husband Charles of Henryetta,Beverly Stevens and husband Gary of Oklahoma City,Granddaughter: Deanne Kindell and husband Randy of SchulterGrandsons: David and Eathen Stevens of Oklahoma City,Great Grandchildren Michael Charles Kindell and Kelly Ann Kindell of Schulter, 2 Sisters; Erma Madewell of Aztec, NM,Luvene Dunlap of Haskell,OK,Sister in Law: Polly Cantrell Brother: Billy Cantrell and wife Lois of Haskell,Many nieces , nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Haskell Cemetery, Haskell, Oklahoma with Rev. Royce Ellen Jr officiating. Services under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
