Joyce Marlene (Adamson) Pittman-Null
July 5, 1939 ~ April 13, 2020

Joyce Marlene Adamson Pittman- Null, 80, a lifelong resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed from this world and entered her eternal heavenly home on Monday April 13, 2020. She was born July 5, 1939 in Muskogee to Earl Adamson and Elizabeth "Eliza" Burgess Adamson. Joyce grew up in Muskogee where she attended school. She graduated from Muskogee Central High School with the class of 1957. After high school Joyce meet and married her first love Eddie Pittman, on August 30, 1957 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Muskogee. Joyce attended beauty school and was a beautician in the Muskogee area. She later attended and graduated from Northeaster State College with her teaching degree in 1978. She taught at Cherokee Elementary School until her retirement in 1999.

In the spring of 1979, Joyce accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and became a faithful member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church. For the past 17 years she has faithfully attended Southeast Baptist Church.

Joyce and Eddie were married for an unforgettable 55 years until his death in 2012. Joyce filled her time with sewing, gardening, her loving family, and shopping at Dillards. On September 1, 2014 she met her new love Ron Null they had an instant bond and married on November 15, 2014. They had an amazing 5 years of love, joy, and laughter. They enjoyed traveling, attending church at Southeast Baptist, and watching Oklahoma Sooners football.

She is survived by her loving husband Ron Null, of the home; her daughters Marcia Pittman Guthrie and husband Jimmy of Muskogee, Teresa Pittman Kinnard of Broken Arrow; six grandchildren, Holly Guthrie Jackson and husband Jeff of Oktaha, Heidi Guthrie Wiedel and husband Jimbo of Muskogee, Haley Guthrie North and husband Ty of Checotah, Lindsey Kinnard of New York City, Landon Kinnard of Tulsa, Lauren Kinnard McEntire and husband Nathan of Broken Arrow; as well as twelve great grandchildren whom she dearly loved.

A family conducted memorial service celebrating Joyce's life will be 1PM, Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Southeast Baptist Church, 2511 E. Hancock, Muskogee, OK.
