Bessie Bertram (Mahoney) Jones

April 22, 1922 ~ September 20, 2006

Funeral services for Bessie Bertram Jones, 84, of Muskogee will be held at 11:00 am. Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Greenhill Cemetery with Reverend Don Jaquez officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.

 Bessie Bertram Jones was born April 22, 1922 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Mahoney and Irma (Loftin) Mahoney and died September 20, 2006 in Muskogee.

She worked at Safeway as a meat wrapper for many years. She loved her family, her grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Boyd Climer; step son Mike Jones and daughter Andrea Talley.

Survivors include one son, Butch and wife Barbara Climer of Muskogee, OK; two daughters, Brenda and husband J.W. Windrix of Muskogee, OK; Jeannie and husband Joe Inman of Delaware, OK; two step sons, Alvin Eugene Jones of Muskogee, OK and Clayton Allen Jones of Muskogee, OK; one sister, Lillian Galatian of Bristow, OK; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
