Rhonda Lee Hinds, 59, of Warner, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020. She was born on August 6, 1960 to Billy Jack Williams and Shirley Lee (McMillin) Williams in Little Rock, Arkansas. She attended Hilldale Middle School, Hilldale High School, and Muskogee High School, Class of 1977. She also attended Connors State College from 1988-1989 and 1990-1992 receiving her Associates degree.
Rhonda loved the rodeo; she became the Muskogee Round Up Rodeo queen of 1975. Shortly after on August 13, 1977, she married the love if her life, Gary Michael Hinds in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They spent over 42 memorable years together. Rhonda spent her life being a provider for people in need, she took care and provided for her sick child, Jennifer Hinds. She also worked at the Department of Rehabilitation Service, the Oklahoma School for the Blind, and as a Nutrition Specialist.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Mykal Hinds; father, Billy Jack Williams; nephew, Mark Meeks.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Michael Hinds, Warner, Oklahoma; daughter, Crystal and husband Jason Sharp of Clinton, Oklahoma; mother, Shirley Williams of Muskogee, Oklahoma; sister, Charlotte and husband Richard Jopson of Porter, Oklahoma; grandsons, Rowdy Hartness and Josh Sharp of Clinton, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Shelby Hartness of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kate Sharp of Binger, Oklahoma; great-granddaughter, Jada Mykal Sutton; nephews, Billy Meeks; great-nephew, Michael Meeks; a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of Rhonda's life will be 10:00am Thursday, June 11, 2020 at New Hope Assembly of God with Pastor Bobby Burris and Pastor Anthony Roe officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Jason Sharp, Rowdy Hartness, Jeremy Sharp, Josh Sharp, Billy Meeks, and Michael Meeks serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Jopson, Jerry Hinds, and Dwayne Burris.
Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 North York St, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
