Edward Heslar

January 10, 1937 ~ March 21, 2004

Funeral services for Edward Heslar, 67, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at Lescher-Millsap Chapel with Brother Keith Cagle officiating. Pallbearers will be Buddy Harris, David Harris, Jimmy Lone, Judd Joie, Joe B. Joie and Joe R. Joie. Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.

Mr. Heslar was born January 10,1937 in Muskogee, OK, the son of Thomas E. and Della Ella (Evans) Heslar and died Sunday, March 21, 2004. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1962. Mr. Heslar worked as a bookkeeper for Hogle Plumbing for 43 years. In 1974 he married Mollie Lone in Muskogee, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Genevive McCurley, JoAnn Harris, Bertaleen Heslar; and four brothers, Tommy, Charles, Jim and Jack Heslar.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Mollie Heslar; one son, John Heslar of Lawrence, KS; one sister, Jerry Joie of Muskogee; one brother, Earl and wife Jane Heslar of Muskogee.
