Mary Angela (Jennings) Clark

March 22, 1912 ~ January 15, 2006

Mary Angela Clark, 93, of Muskogee passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006. She was born March 22, 1912 in Morris, OK, the third child of C. C. & Katie Jennings. She moved with her family to Muskogee in 1914 where Mary attended local schools and Draughon's Business College.

She worked briefly as a legal stenographer for the Veterans Bureau where she met and later married a fellow employee Stanley Aubrey Clark of Oklahoma City. They moved with their children to Albuquerque in 1946 and to Manila, Philippine Islands in 1954. When the family returned home on leave in 1956, Mary stayed in Muskogee to be close to her mother and sister.

She enjoyed bowling, making trips to nationals, reading and gardening. Later  Parkinson's limited her activities to reading and duplicate bridge.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Ann Montgomery in 1976; her parents and her husband. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law: Stanley A. & Kay Clark of Muskogee and Charles & Carol Clark of Boulder, CO; seven grandchildren; four great granddaughters; her sister Martha Jennings and a sister-in-law Vera Jennings.

Mary asked to be cremated with no service planned.

The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service of Muskogee with the arrangements.
