Funeral services for Margaret Angeline Ashwood, 92, of Muskogee will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church with Rusty Williams officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.

Margaret Angeline Ashwood was born November 11, 1915 in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of Colonel Parker Harris and Minnie Bell (Miller) Harris and died February 28, 2008 in Muskogee.

She married Howard Thompson Ashwood, Sr. on December 24, 1936 in Muskogee.

She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, H. T. Ashwood in 1995; and two sisters, Lahoma Evans and Mildred Harris.

Survivors include one son, H. T. Ashwood, Jr. and wife Nan of Sapulpa; two daughters, Margaret Ashwood of Muskogee, and Joan Ashwood of Wheat Ridge, CO; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Howard Thompson "Bud" Ashwood, Sr

April 6, 1914 ~ October 19, 1995

Funeral services for H.T. "Bud" Ashwood Sr., 81, of Muskogee, will be 2:00 p.m., Monday October 23, 1995 at the Greenhill Cemetery with Reverend Cal McCarter and D.L. Seifried officiating. Services are under the direction of Lescher Millsap Funeral Home.

Mr. Ashwood was born on April 6, 1914 in Muskogee, the son of Harry M. and Mary E. Thompson Ashwood and passed away on Thursday, October 19, 1995 in Muskogee.

He married Margaret Harris Ashwood on December 24, 1936 in Muskogee and he was a member of the Family Church on Smith Ferry Road. Mr. Ashwood retired from Eastern Equipment as a Heavy Duty Mechanic and Welder.

His survivors include his Wife: Margaret Ashwood of the home; One Son, Howard and his wife, Nan Ashwood of Sapulpa; Two daughters: Margaret Ann Ashwood and her Fiancee D.L. Copeland of Muskogee, and Joan B. Ashwood of Wheatridge, Co. Seven Brothers: Harry, John, Tommy and Dick Ashwood of Muskogee, Bill Ashwood of Guymon, OK and Jack Ashwood of Muskogee. One sister: Mary Wozniak of Muskogee. Seven Grandchildren: H.T. III and Debby Ashwood of Okmulgee; Gary and Mary Ashwood of Sapulpa; Nancy and Harold Murphy of Sapulpa; Chris and Beck Ashwood of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Cindy Franklin of Muskogee; Raymond and Julie Moore of Dallas, Texas; Tammy and Billy Claunts of Muskogee; 15 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
