Harold J. Trautman

January 8, 1920 ~ February 17, 2006

Harold J. Trautman, 86, of Claremore, formerly of Muskogee, died Friday, February 17, 2006 at Oklahoma Veterans Center, Claremore Division. He was born January 8, 1920 in Alice Park, Pennsylvania to Edward and Alda (Baumgartel) Trautman. Harold was raised by his grandmother in Spokane, Washington where he attended school and spent most of his life. He entered the U. S. Army on May 10, 1945 and was honorably discharged as Corporal on February 17, 1947. During his younger years, Harold enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also tinkered with woodworking. He was self-employed in the roofing and landscaping business.

Preceding Harold in death were his parents and half-brother. He is survived by one son, Ernie Trautman; daughter, Janice King of Oakdale, PA; half-sister, Rita Wedenhafer of Vera Beach, FL and four half-brothers.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.

Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
