Roy Thornton, 82, of Muskogee, OK passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 in Gore, OK. He was born in Braggs, OK on May 30, 1940 the son of Herman Thornton and Ocey Bell Thornton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Lescher Millsap Funeral Home located at 2801 Chandler Road in Muskogee, OK with Edgar Chaney officiating.

Interment will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 12, 2022 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery located at 1423 Cemetery Road in Fort Gibson, OK.

Pallbearers for the service are Brandon Murphy, Eric Murphy, Caleb Thornton, Chuck Geisendorf, Brook Geisendorf, and Bryan Thornton.

Services under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
