Wanda Bell (Marshall) Sparks
May 8, 1928 ~ January 22, 2020

"Mother-Belle", Wanda Belle Marshall Sparks, age 91, slipped peacefully into Eternity, Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020, as a result of pulmonary fibrosis.

She was born May 8, 1928 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Oma Lillie Hussey Marshall and Robert Willie Marshall. They were married in holy matrimony October 7, 1950 in Dallas, Texas and were blessed with 2 children. She & Clyde were able to travel the country in his work as a structural steel Ironworker. they also enjoyed dancing, being outdoors, camping, fishing, they were active in the Order of the Eastern Star, she was a fabulous cook and she was blessed with a wonderful church family at Talihina First Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Clyde B. Sparks in 2008, 2 brothers; Theron Allen Marshall and RC Marshall, sister; Lorna Beth Marshall Brown, her youngest grandson; Nicholas Sparks who was accidentally shot at the age of 15 in Talihina, OK permanently altering the life of every family member leaving the date forever etched in their minds.

She is survived by her two children; daughter, Judy "Dallas" Hotz of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and a son, Marshall Sparks of Talihina, Oklahoma, 9 grandchildren; Kimberlie Lolano and husband Dale of Sioux Falls, SD, Jessica Martin of Castle Rock, CO, Angela Munson of Baltic, SD, Jaqueline Sparks of Castle Rock, CO, Kasey Chadwick Hotz and wife Marce' of Yukon, OK, Vanessa Sparks of Talihina, OK, Lucas Sparks of Las Vegas, NV, and Bridget Sparks of Las Vegas, NV, 9 great grandchildren, Elena, Riley and Landon Martin, Michelle Smith, Naomi Belle Lolano, Kamden Hotz, twins - Nayeli and Nicholas Adrian Sparks, and Mason Sparks, 7 nieces; Wanda Jean, Miriam, Deborah, Laura, Diane, Linda, and Stacy, 6 nephews; Richard, Steve, Mike, Glenn, Ryan and Allen, one great great grandson, Jace Sparks as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 at Burkhart Funeral Service of Talihina.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Talihina with Mark Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service of Talihina.
