Sept. 26, 1917 ~ April 30, 2014

ENID, Okla. - Viewing and Visitation with the family present for Thaddeus G. Slonecki, 96, of Enid, is today, May 13, 2014, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Graveside service will be held at Fort Gibson National Cemetery on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at noon, with the Father Michael Knipe officiating. The family has selected arrangements be placed in the care of Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Mr. Slonecki was born on Sept. 26, 1917, in New York and passed away on April 30, 2014, in Enid. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and, following discharge, married Beula Georgia Maxine Zobisch.

Mr. Slonecki graduated from college, receiving his bachelor's degree. He taught industrial arts at St. Joseph Catholic School and retired with the Enid School System. Upon retirement, he continued his affiliation with the Catholic Church and Retired Teacher's Association, as well as a being a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Surviving Mr. Slonecki are his wife, Maxine of Enid, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family has selected, instead of flowers, memorial remembrances that may be placed in the care of the donor's choice with the Stittsworth Family coordinating. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworth funeralservices.com.
