Geraldine "Jerry" Simmons

April 4, 1931 ~  May 19, 2020

Geraldine "Jerry" Simmons, longtime Muskogee resident died Tuesday May 19, 2020. She was 89 years of age.

Jerri, also known by her family as Grandma Simmons was born April 4, 1931 in Oktaha, OK. She was one of four daughters born to Nick, and Lillie Mae (Stephens) Frazier. She worked for Brockway Glass for over 32 years. She enjoyed spending with her family and grandkids.

Surviving are two sons, Allen Simmons Jr. and his wife Judy of Muskogee and Gary Simmons and his wife Barbara of Claremore; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren with one on the way.

Jerry was preceded in death by her husband Allen Simmons Sr., her parents and three sisters, Lenora, Polly and Stella.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday May 22, 2020 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee. Interment will be with her husband at Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
