Muskogee native Richard Ray Roberts, 84, passed away April 28, 2020, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 22, 1935, Ray was always a devoted son. He cared for his mother, Mary Faye Teel, and stepfather, "PaPa" Ben Teel, their entire lives. At a very young age, Ray worked carrying shingles for his grandfather. After the service, Ray worked full time for Fansteel Metals as an electrician on the night shift, while continuing to work for his roofing business during the day. He worked two jobs until he retired.
