Clara Barbara Jean (Rogers) Long

September 25, 1942 ~ September 11, 2004

Clara Barbara Jean Long was born September 25, 1942, in Oologah, Rogers County, Oklahoma to Alanzo Andrew (Lonnie) and Opal Pearl (Martin) Rogers. She passed from this life Saturday, September 11, 2004 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda Pearl Long; a sister Eva People; a brother, Richard Rogers; and a great-granddaughter, Liberty Dallas Faith Butler. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Sherrill Boyd Long, daughters Patricia A. Bonifant, Nancy S. Smith, Deborah R. James; sisters Ima Jean Swartz, Wanda Cooley and Susan Hughes; brothers, Ralph Rogers, James Rogers, Walter Rogers, Andrew Rogers, Lee Rogers, Paul Hughes, and Mitchell Rogers; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Monday, September 13, 2004 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Pastor Roger Jones and Pastor Perry Fletcher officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home.

CLARA BARBARA JEAN (ROGERS) LONG
