Ronnie Gene Lemon passed from this life on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the age of 70.

Ronnie was born on July 29, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the son of James Earl and Ruby Lee (Cole) Lemon. Ronnie grew up in the Garden City area of Tulsa, later graduating from Tulsa Webster High School with the Class of 1969. After high school, Ronnie was united in marriage to Margaret Reese, and to that union, there is one son Bryan. Ronnie was later drafted into the service of his country during the Vietnam Conflict serving his time in Korea. Following his return to Tulsa, Ronnie attended Tulsa Junior College graduating with an Associate's Degree in Metallurgy. In November of 1973, Ronnie was married to Elaine Medlin, and to that union, there is one son Chris. Ronnie worked at Goodyear Tires, Piping Engineering in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Word Industries. In 2004, Ronnie accepted a position with Holly Frontier; in 2018, Ronnie retired. On June 22, 2002, Ronnie was married to Teresa Diane Gilley in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

Ronnie loved being outdoors. He was an avid motorcycle, car racing, and most recently, jet-ski enthusiast. Ronnie also liked going for a bike ride and walking. He always looked forward to the yearly trip to Panama City, Florida, and the Lemon Family Reunion. He has made numerous yard decorations with his abilities as a welder.

Survivors are his wife Teresa of the home, three children Bryan Canady and his wife Kelsey of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Chris Lemon and his wife Wendy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jami Fernandez of Stillwater, Oklahoma; four siblings Patricia Varnell and her husband Dale of Mannford, Oklahoma, Tommy Lemon of Seminole, Oklahoma, Robert Lemon and his wife Carolyn of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Sam Taylor and his wife Janet of Owasso, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren Cady, Timber, Shay, Erica, Gabrielle, Olivia, Jackie, Cheyenne, Alyssa, Tabitha, Dylan, Eric; eighteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by one brother James Edward Lemon and one grandson Cody Carl.

Memorial services will be held later with the internment of the cremains in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Ronnie at www.chapman-black.com.
