Billy Charles Conner

Billy Charles Conner
July 20, 1932 ~ January 1, 2025

Billy Charles Conner, 92-year-old Pryor resident, passed away on January 1, 2025, at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born on July 20, 1932, in Pryor, to Charles Lafayette Conner and Violet (Rogers) Conner. Billy was a graduate of Grants Union High School in Sacramento, California. After high school Billy joined the United States Navy, the Navy became his career, serving over 20 years. After retirement he went to work in the medical industry and retired from the Delta Memorial Medical Center in Antioch, California. He was married to Geneva Gail (Bowels) in 1960, to this union were born four children. They moved back to Pryor in 1994, to make their home. Billy enjoyed traveling in the RV, going fishing and hunting, bowling, hitting the casino, and cooking for family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Geneva Gail Conner on February 7, 2020, three siblings, Ronald Conner, Glenda Browning, and Pamila Conner.

The family includes his children, Patricia JoAnn Conner (Paul Curdy) of Pryor, Kathleen Lynne Baughman (Alan) of Rose, Robert Charles Conner (Barbara) of Brentwood, California, Joseph Edward Conner (Sue) of Bay Point, California, sisters, Charlene Murr of Oregon, Carole Hook of Pryor, grandchildren, Stephanie Rowe, Laura Broderdorf, Crystal Stanley, Amber Phillips (Tim), Bradley Conner, Jolee Conner, Seth Conner, great grandchildren, Blake and Ben Broderdorf, sister in law, Maureen Conner of West Jordan, Utah and their good friends Jerry and Mary.

Services will be held at a later date, with interment at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Online condolences may be made at www.stephens-key.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in care of the Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care of Pryor.
