Mary Lou (Cooper) Brown

July 18, 1936 ~ March 4, 2008

In loving memory of Mary Lou Brown, 71, of Bellevue, Nebraska services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Ft. Gibson with Ron Ford officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Ft. Gibson.

Mrs. Brown was born July 18, 1936 and died Tuesday, March 4, 2008 in Bellevue, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Jack Cooper and Lucille (Smith) Cooper.

On July 21, 1954 she married James Edward Brown in Ft. Gibson. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her mother, Lucille Cooper of Ft. Gibson; her husband James Edward Brown of Bellevue, NE; two daughters: Angela Brown and husband Mike DeLost of Omaha, NE; Sherry and husband Don Smith of Jamestown, NC; three sisters: Shirley Hensley of Muskogee, Jackie Smith of Ft. Gibson, Debbie Jenkins of Ft. Gibson; four brothers: Bud Cooper of Checotah, Larry Cooper of Ft. Gibson, Ronnie Cooper of Tahlequah and Chuck Cooper of Ft. Gibson; two aunts: Lorena Patterson of El Mirage, AZ and Sadie Raven of Kalispell, MT, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Phillip.
