Thomas Edgar "Tom" Woodell, a resident of Sulphur was born October 15, 1934 in Clarita, Oklahoma to Forrest & Lillie (Lee) Woodell. He passed away Saturday February 29, 2020 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years 4 months and 14 days.

He was married in 1957 to Carol Sue (Moss) Woodell at Ardmore, OK Tom grew up in Clarita where he attended school, graduating from Clarita High School. He worked as an auto mechanic & service manager after obtaining a certified technician certificate from General Motors and Toyota. Tom lived in Sulphur before moving to Duncan in 1963 where they lived until recently returning to Sulphur. Tom had served with the Okla National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Kenneth, Bob, & Billy, 2 Sisters: Mae Williams and Linda Woodell.

Survived by his Wife: Carol Sue Woodell, of Sulphur, OK Children & spouses: Debbie & Steve Smith, of Broken Arrow, OK Pam Ferguson & Bryan Shumate, of Ft. Worth, TX Aaron & Jennifer Ferguson, of Duncan, OK Grandchildren & spouses: Lindsey & Tommy Gappa Scott & Larissa Smith Daniel & Amber Ferguson Drew & Samantha Ferguson Great Grandchildren: Nolan Smith, Garrett Smith, Keaton Ferguson and Cruz Ferguson Brothers & spouses, Keith & Joyce Woodell, of Sulphur, OK Terry & Terry Woodell, of Sulphur, OK Sisters: Kathy John & husband Jamey, of Sulphur, OK and Margaret Gilbert, of Odessa, TX;

Services will be held Friday March 6, 2020 at 11:00AM Graveside at Oaklawn Cemetery officiated by Rev Bill Leveridge..

Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home in Sulphur, OK

Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday March 7 at the DeArman Funeral Home. donations may be made in Toms memory to Murray County Health Care Foundation in care of PO Box 1138 Sulphur, OK. 73086 or call 580-622-8204.
