James Troy Timmerman, a resident of Sulphur was born May 9, 1941 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Arch Ray & Carlie Dollie (Greenfield) Timmerman.

He passed away Monday August 17, 2020 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years 3 months and 8 days.

Troy grew up in McFarland, California. He served in the US Army in Germany. He was a master auto mechanic and owned his own business until his retirement in 2003. Troy had lived in Sulphur since 2006.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda Maxine Pettitt Timmerman and a daughter Tonya.

Survived by his wife, Barbara Benge, of Sulphur, OK 5 Children: Charlotte, Rick, Ginger, Randy, Stephanie, Sister, Carolyn Willis , 32 Grandchildren, and 57 Great Grandchildren

Memorial Services will be held Friday August 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM in The Chapel of Crossway Baptist Church officiated by Rev Bill Leveridge. Arrangements by DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur
