IN MEMORY OF DORA B. (REIMER) WICHERT 1916-1981
Dora B. Wichert, 65, died Saturday, May 2nd, 1981 at Fairview Hospital. Her funeral was held Tuesday, May 5th, 1981 in the Mennonite Brethren Church, Fairview, Oklahoma with the Rev. Chuck Priddy officiating. Burial was in North Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of Fairview Funeral Home. She was born January 13th, 1916 in Corn, Oklahoma. She married Emil C. Wichert on August 4th, 1940 at Corn, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church, where she taught Sunday choir and was chairman of World Mennonite Services for several years. She was also a member of the East Fairview Home Demonstration Club. Survivors include two sons: Norman D. and Robert L., both of Fairview, Oklahoma; a brother, Cornelius Reimer, Jr. of Adams, Oklahoma; seven sisters: Ruby Enns of Toutle, Washington; Elizabeth Enns of Ferndale, Washington; Helen Peters of Corn, Oklahoma; Tillie Kopper of Cimmaron, Kansas; Lillie Kliewer of Weatherford, Oklahoma; Amie Janzen of Okeene, Oklahoma; and Sara Ann Flaming of Bonaire, Antilles; and five grandchildren. Her husband died in 1973. Her parents also died before her. As printed in the "WATONGA REPUBLICAN", Thursday, May 7th, 1981, Watonga, Blaine County, Oklahoma, U.S.A. - 73772.
