SCHULTZ, THEODORE (TED), SR. 1915-1989
OKEENE - Funeral services for Theodore (Ted) Schultz, 74, who died Thursday, March 2, 1989 at Okeene, was held Monday March 6, 1989 at Okeene First Baptist church with Revs. Earl Metcalf and Bennet Peters officiating. Services concluded in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary. Schultz was born February 26th, 1915, near Okeene to Wilhelm and Myrtle (Flint) Schultz. He was a resident of the Okeene community all his life where he was engaged in farming along with working at Okeene Milling for six years and U.S. Gypsum for 25 years. He attended Arapaho School and Okeene High School and was a member of the Okeene Church of God. HE married Marcelious Redding on May 14,1937. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister. Survivors include his wife, Marcellious of the home; two sons: Theodore (Ted) Schultz, Jr. of Okeene, Oklahoma; and Charles Schultz of Denton, Texas; four daughters: Juanita Goforth and Barbara Bedwell, both of Okeene, Oklahoma; Mary DeMoss of Denton, Texas and Debra Galusha of Yukon, Oklahoma; and 12 grandchildren.
