Then on February 26, 1941 she and William Eugene Potter were married in Nash in Grant County in the home of Pastor Thomas Hicks. They farmed in Boise City, worked the oilfields of Kansas, and worked at Aero Parts Manufacturing Company in Wichita, Kansas. She was a wonderful cook, a very good mother and a very special grandmother. She truly leaves many wonderful memories behind her. She loved all life had to offer, enjoyed the animals in nature and was a gifted artist and seamstress. Her favorite thing to eat was Chocolate Covered Turtles and she hated green beans. She was a long time romantic and never stopped holding hands until the day she died. She belonged to the United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Billy Gene Potter who is living in Jonesboro, Arkansas at this time; two daughters, Billie Carol (Potter) Redmon of Wright City, Missouri and Georgia Ann (Potter) Redmon of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother, Leonard George of Edmond; two sisters, Virginia (George) Manning of Jet, Rachel (George) Reinholtzer of Chicago, Illinois; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
