Leonard Jay Osmus was known by the nickname "BOMBER" which he received while attending an outdoor high school football game that his son Mark was playing in. During the game, an airplane flew low overhead and Leonard stood up among the crowd, pointing to the plane, and exclaimed "BOMBER". From that point on, all his friends called him "BOMBER".
