Services for Ruben J. Nusz, 74, who died at his home in Okeene, Oklahoma, Sunday, February 20th, 1977 were Wednesday February 23rd, 1977, in St. John's United Church of Christ at Okeene with Paul Southard, Pastor, officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Landes Funeral Home. Nusz was born near Okeene and married Marie Herman in 1923. He lived most of his life in the Okeene community and was employed at the United States Gysum Company and in construction until his retirement. Survivors include his wife Marie, 1 daughter, Mrs. Duane (Betty Jo) Simmons of Los Angeles, California; 2 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Bertha L. Nusz of Cambridge, Massachusetts; and Alma Haffner of Salem, Oregon; and 1 brother, Leslie Nusz of Oildale, California.
