Lillian F. (Ramsey) Nuss, 93, died November 8, 1996 at Presbyterian Manor at Newton. She was born June 23, 1903 in Miller County, Missouri, the daughter of James Earl and Laura Elizabeth Ramsey. A longtime Newton resident, she worked at Ramsey's Grocery and Dillions. She had been a member of the First Christian Church of Newton since 1920. She was a 25-year volunteer for the Red Cross. Survivors include: two sisters, Wilma T. Fisher, Wichita, Kansas; and Mildred Thudin, Newton, Kansas. There will be no visitation and no service.
