FUNERAL NOTICE - NUSZ, ISAAC 1914-1992
Funeral services for Isaac Nusz, 77, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, at the Canton United Methodist Church. Rev. Robert Barr and Rev. Leonne Worchester officiated. Burial was in the Fountain Cemetery under the direction of Haigler funeral Home. Isaac was born August 5, 1914, at Hitchcock, Oklahoma to Fred and Anna Martens Nusz. He grew up and attended school in the Hitchcock community. Isaac was married to Leona Burghardt in 1936, at Hitchcock. They moved to the Corn community in 1939, and to the Canton community in 1943. Isaac retired from farming in 1971, at which time they moved into Canton. He departed this life at his home in Canton on April 23, 1992, at the age of 77 years. He is survived by two daughters, Joyce Cox and her husband Jim, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Kathey Rauh and her husband Floyd, Bethany, Oklahoma; his best friend, Ruby Price, Canton, Oklahoma; four granddaughters, Ginger Cox, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Deawn and Deanna Rauh, Bethany, Oklahoma, Annetta Nusz, Weatherford, Oklahoma and one grandson, Russell Nusz, Weatherford, Oklahoma; two brothers, Leo of Montezuma, Kansas, and Ralph of Morganton, North Carolina; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1985, by his son, Ivan, also by three brothers. As printed in the "OKEENE RECORD", Okeene, Blaine County, Oklahoma, 73763, U.S.A.

CANTON - The funeral for Isaac Nusz, 77, who died Thursday, April 23, 1992, at his home in Canton, will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Canton. The Revs. Robert Barr and Leonne Worcester will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fountain Cemetery, west of Canton, under direction of Haigler Funeral Home. He was born August 5, 1914, at Hitchcock to Fred and Anna Martens Nusz and attended school in that area. On March 11, 1936 he married Leona Burghardt at Hitchcock. They moved to Corn in 1939, then to the Canton area in 1943. They retired from farming in 1971 and moved into Canton. Surviving are his friend, Ruby Price of Canton; two daughters, Mrs. Jim (Joyce) Nusz of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mrs. Floyd (Kathey) Rauh of Bethany, Oklahoma; two brothers, Leo of Montezuma, Kansas and Ralph of Morganton, North Carolina; four granddaughters and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1985, one son and three brothers. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Heart Division.
