Nease, Floyd Raymond 1926-2002
Floyd Raymond Nease, 76, died Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at Marlow Manor Nursing Home, Marlow, Oklahoma. Funeral services were Friday, October 25th, 2002 at the Bethel United Methodist Church with Dr. Gene Nease officiating. Burial was held in the Letitia Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, Oklahoma. Mr. Nease was born September 15th, 1926 to John and Goldie Nease in their family home in rural Lawton, Oklahoma. Mr. Nease was a farmer and lived most of his life in Comanche County, and in later life, moved to Marlow. He attended Central High. Mr. Nease served in the army and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Marlow VFW post. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing dominoes. Mr. Nease was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Ruth Nease and Thelma Pampin. He is survived by one brother W. W. "Buck" Nease of Okeene, Oklahoma and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers were nephews Jamie Nease, Phillip Pampin, Harry Bruster, Adam Bruster, David Bruster, Jeffrey Nease, Eric Nease and Cody Nease.
