OKEENE - The funeral for Albert Nusz, 82, who died Wednesday at Okeene Hospital will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. John's United Church of Christ. The Rev. Bill Wiebe will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The casket will be open until 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene, and will remain closed at the church. He was born February 14, 1908, on a farm south of Okeene to Henry and Katherine Nusz and attended country schools. He lived in the Okeene area most of his life and was a farmer. On August 2, 1932, he and Katherine Weber were married in Enid. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Glen (Virginia) Weaver of Okeene; one sister, Ruby Winter of Amarillo, Texas; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters, and one grandson. Memorials may be made through the mortuary to the Okeene Hospital Renovation fund.
