LAMLE, WALTER EUGENE 1935-1998
WATONGA - The funeral for Walter Eugene Lamle, 63, will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. The Rev. Matthew Larson will officiate. Burial will be in the Watonga, I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary. He was born January 26, 1935 on the family farm southeast of Okeene to Otto and Hulda Koch Lamle and died Saturday, July 4, 1998 at his home in Watonga, Oklahoma. As a young child, he moved with the family from Okeene to Watonga, where he spent most of his life. He was self-employed as a carpenter. He graduated from Watonga High School and attended a trade school in Wichita, Kansas. He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Watonga. On September 2, 1967 he married Penelope Osburn at the Hitchcock Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Penny of the home; three sons, Darin, Jason, and Joshua, all of Watonga; one daughter, Lexy Jobe of Hennessey; one brother, Harold of Lawton; two sisters, Geneva Bradford of Pond Creek and Delores Critchlow of Enid; and three grandchildren.
