LAMLE, NORMAN G. 1938-1995
OKEENE - Funeral services for Norman G. Lamle, 56, will be at 2 p.m.Tuesday at the First Christian Church, with Pastor Darrell Boyd and Pastor Chuck McKinney officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, under direction of Sisson Funeral Home, Okeene, Oklahoma. He was born September 22, 1938 in Okeene, to Clarence Edward and Marie (Metzler) Lamle and died Saturday, January 14, 1995 at his home in Okeene. He was born and raised in Okeene and lived there all his life. He graduated from Okeene High School in 1956. He married Peggy Sue Pharis October 17, 1964 in Fairview, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in 1992. He was a farmer and worked for Haworth Veterinary Clinic for 17 years. He attended Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee. He was a member of the Okeene 4-H Club and was State Wheat King in 1951 and 1954 and F.F.A. King in 1955, 1957, and 1959. Surviving are a son, Justin Lamle of Enid, Oklahoma; a daughter, Barbara Nightengale of Isabella; two brothers: Rolland "Cap" Lamle and Jerry Lamle, both of Okeene, Oklahoma; and one sister, Laveta Lee of Ames, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be give to the Okeene Ambulance Fund. As printed in "the OKEENE RECORD", Okeene, Blaine County, Oklaoma, U.S.A. 73763.
