OKEENE - The funeral for LeVern Sherman Lorenz, 80, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Wilkinson Mortuary in Okeene, Oklahoma. The Rev. Forrest Wiest will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The casket will be open until service time. He was born October 31st, 1914 near Okeene, Oklahoma to Ruben and Leah (Laubach) Lorenz and died Tuesday January 31, 1995 at the Okeene Hospital. He was a resident of the Okeene-Isabella communities all of his life. He attended Locust Grove and Okeene schools. He was a self-employed gardener. On August 3rd, 1935 he married Vera Brewer. Surviving are his wife; two sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Ellis of Claremore, Oklahoma; and Vernita Secor of Drummond, Oklahoma; and one brother, Ruben of Monument, Colorado.
