LAUBACH, EDVINA (GREB) 1910-2001
Funeral services for Edvina Laubach, 91, was held Monday, November 19, 2001 at 2:30 P.M. at the Zion Baptist Church in Okeene with Pastor Ken Wilcox officiating. Burial followed in the Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements were by Lanman Funeral Home of Okeene. Edvina was born on March 16, 1910 in Isabella, Oklahoma, the daughter of Fred and Mary Buxman Greb. She passed away on November 16, 2001 at the Okeene Hospital. Edvina attended Henson Grade School. On November 4, 1930, she married Ervin Laubach. She was a housewife and also worked in the kitchen at the Hospital Annex. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Okeene and was involved in the Women's Missionary Union in the Zion Baptist Church and the Embroidery Club. Surviving are her husband, Ervin of the home; two sons: Jay Lee Laubach and wife, Judy of Okeene; Gary Laubach and wife, Margie of Okeene; one daughter, Nada Hokit and husband, Ron of Duncan, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Betty Laubach of Canton, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Arnold Laubach; five sisters: Mary, Mollie, Bertha, Hannah, and Lena; three brothers: Ezra, Sane, and Henry; and one son-in-law, Donnie Rauh. Memorials may be made to Okeene Hospital Foundation through Lanman Funeral Home of Okeene.
