ALLEEN, MARY (PRITCHETT) 1927-2002
Mary Alleen, went to be with her Lord, Monday, July 1st, 2002. She was born on September 16th, 1927 in Traer, Iowa. Mary was the daughter of Harry and Isabel Pritchett. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by: Husband, Tunney; son, David; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Joe Salomon; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends. Mary worked as an assistant to the Red Cross Field Director at the Olathe Naval Air Base during World War II, where she met Tunney. They were married on June 1st, 1946, 56 years and 1 month ago in Olathe, Kansas. She moved to Oklahoma and soon became an avid OU fan as well as a fan of many sports, especially those in which her children and grandchildren played. If all possible, she never missed an event. She was active in her church, Fellowship Bible Church of Tulsa and served the Lord Jesus Christ as the chairman of the FBC Prayer Chain. She was the greatest prayer warrior and even at her death was still actively praying for request that been brought to her. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother.
