Connan Doyle Hisey, left this earth on May 6th 2020, to join our heavenly Father. Connan though known to family and friends as "Doyle", was born on May 7th, 1919. The parents of this amazing soul being Almos Hisey and Eva Stark. Doyle joined the United States Aircorp in 1940-1945 and was a WWII Veteran. He was the father of son Stephen Hisey. He was a single father who loved cars, and Rush Limbaugh, and Levi Garret chewing tobbaco, and Chuck Taylor tennis shoes.
He later married his wife Clara Hisey on March 16th, 1956. Between the two of them and their two children Stephen Hisey and Tommie Jean Swanson, they managed to build quite a life together and a large family. Later he just simply became known as the man we all know, love, and will always be to us as " our papa". He was the warmest soul with the wisest eyes, and kindest words, and heart heavy laugh. He had the best stories and most comfortable pajamas in the world. He had the ability to make you feel important by just a silly nickname. He taught us we can be strong without being mean. He showed us what a "good" man was and what being a father meant. There will only be one Doyle Hisey. He will be eternally missed but never forgotten. He will forever be a part of us and of all the goodness we are able to project into this world.
He leaves behind to carry on his memory, his son Stephen, his 3 grandchild Joe, Letitia, and Melissa. 8 great-grandchildren. One of whom he raised as his daughter, Kacie Lilly. 12 great-great-grandchildren, 8 nephews and 6 nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents Almos and Eva Hisey, brothers Hollis and Buzz, his sister's Ruby and Bonnie, his stepdaughter Tommie Jean Swanson, and wife Clara Hisey. We Love you Hisey!
